Elaine Miller Dorfman (Nov. 17, 1923-Dec. 24, 1992) was the oral historian of the Western Jewish History Center. She was also a staff member of the Regional Oral History Office in the Bancroft Library, at the University of California, at Berkeley. She also taught oral history methodologies and sociology at Vista College. At the time of her death, she was working on a project documenting Jewish women in the military in World War Two.
